Athletic Director / Director of Facilities & Transportation
Holy Cross Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated, organized, and mission-driven professional to serve as our full-time Athletic Director / Director of Facilities & Transportation. This unique leadership role combines oversight of athletics, facilities management, and student transportation to support the daily operations and long-term success of our school community.
The ideal candidate is highly relational, safety-focused, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities while creating a positive experience for students, families, coaches, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Athletics Leadership
- Recruit and retain student-athletes across all athletic programs
- Coordinate athletic schedules, competitions, and transportation logistics
- Communicate effectively with coaches, students, and parents regarding athletic expectations, practices, and events
- Support the promotion, growth, and overall success of the school's athletic programs
- Ensure compliance with school policies and applicable athletic regulations
Facilities Management
- Oversee maintenance and operational needs across both school campuses
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to support facility upkeep and repairs
- Monitor campus safety, facility readiness, and preventative maintenance schedules
- Maintain facility records, inspections, and usage agreements
- Identify and prioritize facility improvement projects
Transportation Oversight
- Serve as the primary driver for the school activity bus
- Ensure transportation vehicles are properly maintained and meet safety standards
- Maintain transportation logs, inspection records, and maintenance schedules
- Safely transport students between campuses and to school events as needed
- Ensure student safety and appropriate supervision during all transportation activities
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience in athletics, facilities management, transportation, or school operations preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
- Commitment to student safety, professionalism, and teamwork
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for athletic events
Kindergarten Teacher
Holy Cross Christian Academy is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher to join our Early Education team as our program continues to grow. This educator will play a vital role in building strong academic foundations while fostering curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a structured, engaging, and joyful classroom environment where students grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences appropriate for early learners
- Foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young students
- Maintain a well-organized classroom with strong classroom management
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Support each child’s academic, social, and emotional development
Qualifications
- Appropriate teaching certification or degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
- Experience working with young children (PreK–Kindergarten preferred)
- Understanding of early childhood development and foundational learning skills
Elementary Art Teacher (Part-Time)
Holy Cross Christian Academy is seeking a part-time Elementary Art Teacher to inspire creativity and imagination in our students through engaging, hands-on art instruction. This educator will create an atmosphere of discovery where students are encouraged to explore, create, and express themselves while developing foundational art skills and an appreciation for the arts in a joyful, Christ-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Degree or experience in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred
- Experience working with elementary-age children preferred
- Ability to create age-appropriate, engaging art lessons that encourage creativity and skill development
Elementary Music Teacher (Part-Time)
Holy Cross Christian Academy is seeking a part-time Elementary Music Teacher to cultivate a love for music and joyful learning in our elementary students. This educator will provide engaging, age-appropriate music instruction that encourages creativity, participation, confidence, and musical appreciation while introducing students to foundational musical concepts, rhythm, movement, and performance opportunities in a Christ-centered classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Degree or experience in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field preferred
- Experience working with elementary-age children preferred
- Ability to lead engaging, age-appropriate music instruction that fosters creativity and participation
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages musical growth and confidence
Third Grade Teacher
Holy Cross Christian Academy is seeking a caring, energetic, and well-organized Third Grade Teacher who is passionate about helping students grow academically, spiritually, and socially. This educator will play a key role in fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning during an important year of elementary development.
The ideal candidate loves the unique humor, enthusiasm, and curiosity of eight-year-olds and creates engaging, hands-on learning experiences that make learning meaningful and fun. Strong communication skills, a solid understanding of child development, and the ability to build positive partnerships with parents are essential.
Intermediate Art Teacher (Part-Time)
Holy Cross Christian Academy is seeking a part-time Intermediate Art Teacher to inspire creativity, artistic growth, and self-expression in students through engaging, hands-on art instruction. This educator will help students develop artistic skills, explore a variety of mediums and techniques, and cultivate an appreciation for the arts in a Christ-centered learning environment.
Qualifications
- Degree or experience in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred
- Experience working with upper elementary or intermediate-age students preferred
- Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate art lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and skill development
- Ability to foster a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Before School Director
Holy Cross Christian Academy is seeking a Before School Director to provide a safe, welcoming, and well-supervised environment for students before the start of the school day. This individual will oversee morning care operations, build positive relationships with students and families, and help ensure each day begins smoothly and positively.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills
- Ability to maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with others
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Basic first aid knowledge preferred for director candidates
After School Director
Holy Cross Christian Academy is seeking an After School Director to oversee our after-school program and provide a safe, structured, and positive environment for students at the end of each school day. The Director will be responsible for maintaining attendance records, ensuring proper dismissal to authorized guardians, monitoring student safety, and providing basic first aid when needed. This individual will also organize daily activities, including study hall, homework support, and outdoor play.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills
- Ability to maintain a safe and structured environment
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Basic first aid knowledge preferred
After School Assistant
Holy Cross Christian Academy is seeking an After School Assistant to help provide a safe, caring, and well-supervised environment for students after school. This individual will assist with student supervision, homework support, outdoor play, and daily activities while helping ensure a smooth and positive end to each school day.
